Finally In A House! YAY!:)

Okay so it has been a while since I last posted-but since no one comes here to visit that's okay! haha!  Well I am RELIEVED to say we finally moved into a house...after a YEAR of camping!   WHEW!
So there are many new plans, REALLY getting into working out EVERY DAY...working out in a tent is not only difficult because of space reasons, but you can't control the tempeture, the fact that the floor was EXTREMELY uneven didn't help and you can't really crank the music.
I am hoping to have all of our stuff sorted and unpacked within the next month...WHEN THE HECK DID WE ACUMULATE ALL OF THIS JUNK?...and I have already begun working on the new WEBSITE:)  I hope to have a combination on CUSTOM BOUTIQUE items for ordering, READY MADE items for sale, some adorable 3RD PARTY things like baby shower diaper cakes, and baby gifts, PLUS some great new READY MADE BLANKS-that I can personalize and send right out:)
I also plan to introduce some NEW PRODUCTS that will be available for CUSTOM ORDERS:)

Cupcakes Anyone?:)

Sarah Michelle just loves cupcakes...so what better addition to her bakery "CUPCAKES" than felt food cupcakes?

I made all of the pieces of this set separately, instead of sewing them together, so my daughter could arrange them however she wanted when she was playing:)  This photo shows the muffin cup and plain cupcake:)  I love making felt food, but it is VERY TIME CONSUMING!  It takes as much hand sewing as it does machine sewing!  When I was making the last icing for the top of the last cupcake, I realized I HAD NO MORE CHOCOLATE!  So I ended up making the last rose red, which fits better anyway, but now the princess has commanded that there should be 12 cupcakes, and 3 of them should be RED VELVET!

So I guess I am NOT finished with them quite yet!:)  This next cute photo shows the JUMBO ROSE cupcake:)  I used one of the jumbo cherries I made for the "fluffy icing" for this photo:)

Plain cupcakes in their muffin cups:)  I made 3 blue cups, 3 pink cups and 3 pink cups.  I then made 3 strawberry, 3 chocolate and 3 vanilla cupcakes.  Then a great assortment of icings, 1 of each vanilla, chocolate and strawberry for the SWIRL ICING, FLUFFY RUFFLE ICING AND THE JUMBO ROSE ICING.  But I had run out of brown and made the red rose instead:)
I can't decide on which are my favoites!  I love the SWIRL ICING cupcakes because I added tiny pink seed beads to each to look like sprinkles and to add some sparkle:)

The FLUFFY RUFFLE ICING were fun, and a lot faster and easier than I thought they would be:)  Ha ha they look a little like toupee's!

And then the last set I made, the JUMBO ROSE ICING cupcakes:)  I remembered back when Sarah had her birthday party in kindergarten I had purchased cupcakes for the class, and had found one cupcake that had an enormous rose in pink icing on the top-it was gorgeous!  I remember having the hardest time with it because it was top heavy and kept falling over on the way to the school:)

Something New!:)

Here are pictures of some of the cute things I made Sarah for her birthday this year!  I couldn't decide which color theme to go with, so I made her 2 sets-one in pink and one in aqua-and of course they BOTH HAVE CUPCAKES!:)
I love this apron!  Not only is it ADORABLE!  It is reversible! The first side has 2 pockets to hold your cooking utensils.  I made Sarah's with aqua cupcake fabric, aqua dot and brown & aqua polka dots.  I added aqua ric rac to the pockets to add a little retro look to it:)
I found some cute aqua measuring spoons and scrapers for her pockets:)  I love the hot pads and oven mitt-They are REAL-meaning they have INSULBRITE and 4 LAYERS OF QUILT BATTING
so she can use them for baking and not burn her little hands:)  They are also cute for her play bakery, where she loves to make up playfood for the family to purchase from her bakery-"Cupcakes:)"
More photos...:)
Back view of the chef hat...it is fully lined, so it is actually reversible also-I used the brown & pink polka dot fabric for the lining of the pink hat, and aqua with brown pin dots for the lining of the aqua hat:)  Each chef hat has a 3"x 2" velcro strip so that they are adjustable:)

Pink apron with "Little Lady" tossed cupcakes on pink with scattered fuchsia multi-colored dots and brown with pink polka dot pockets.  Each pocket has pink ric rac trim:)
The apron is reversible-one side has 16 little pockets for crayons, and the other side has 2 pockets and is to use for cooking/baking.  I also made her a matching chef hat, hot pads, and oven mitts for each apron:)
Close-up view of the CRAYON POCKETS...each little pocket holds it's own crayon, there are 16 pockets total-perfect amount for 1 pencil, 1 pen and a pack of 14 crayons:)
Additional photos show hot pad holders, pink apron closeup and some other shots of my adorable cutie in her aprons:)
